Are you a fan of TV shows like the Hotel Inspector, Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares or the recent Mary Portas Secret Shopper series? In these shows someone who knows a lot about the business goes into it, looks at what they are doing; asks a lot of questions and makes suggestions about how they can do it better? We figure as you receive services from us you know a lot about them and you could do something similar for us.
We can’t promise to get you on the telly but we can promise we will give you the power and influence to challenge and make recommendations for change. We are looking for SYHA customers to form a Challenge Group and we need people like you to be part of it.
Before you make your mind up whether this is for you, let us tell you a bit more about this exciting new initiative that could change the way SYHA provides services to customers in the future.
- The Challenge Group will be independent from SYHA. We will help you set up but after that you will tell us what support you want from us and we will give you access to the resources you need.
- The Group can ask to look at any area of our business (the only thing we cannot share with you is personal data about customers) and we want the group to carry out 3 challenge exercises per year. We expect this might mean around 6 meetings a year with some reading and possibly visits in between.
- We are looking for around 6 to 8 customer challengers to form the group. We will cover your out of pocket expenses for getting involved and will work with you to facilitate meetings at a venue and time to suit you.
If you are interested in being part of the exciting new group contact Caroline Hubbard, Resident Focus and Policy Manager on 0114 2900 258 or email involvingyou@syha.co.uk
