FareShare

FareShare is a community food recycling network. For a small membership fee the FareShare team of staff and volunteers distribute surplus food, from well-known companies such as Warburtons and Marks and Spencer, to organisations working with people at risk or in need in the local community.

We were so impressed with the professionalism of the service that we have received through our project members that we decided to support FareShare South Yorkshire to increase their impact locally. We know and work with lots of local projects and organisations that would certainly benefit from the service FareShare provide. To raise awareness we have helped to organise two open information and recruitment events, one at our Wellington Street office and one at Wharf House in Doncaster.
