Future Job Fund

Which encourages employers to give a work placement to young unemployed people to enable them to gain skills which will help them secure longer term employment either with that employer or elsewhere in the jobs market. The placements work with the organisation for up to 28 hours per week for 6 months and the costs of their employment is funded by the government.

We have recruited 5 future job fund placements 4 who work in our Neighbourhood Environment Team, (NEAT) and one who works in the administration team. The 5 young people joined us in April.

A training programme has been drawn up for them and they will gain a wide range of skills and experience with us. They are all great additions to our teams and are bringing a lot of energy and enthusiasm to their work.

Our aim is to help them secure a permanent job whilst working with us to deliver improvements for our tenants and residents.
