Power Roofs

We have just started our new and exciting Power Roofs project. We contacted a cross section of our residents, and after receiving a vat of positive feedback, we instantly started the Power Roofs project - fitting Photovoltaic Panels (PV) to 300 SYHA homes.

The PV panels are being fitted by our in-house Architects and thanks to the government’s Feed in Tariff scheme (FiT) – we are able to provide the PV at no cost at all to our residents.PV work by generating free electricity from daylight – helping our residents to condense their carbon emissions and to reduce their utility bills.

Our first carbon cutting customers were Mr & Mrs Coul from Beighton in Sheffield. They are delighted with their new money saving features, and were pleasantly surprised by the speedy one day instillation.
