Forging links

Since May 2009 Termrim have been working with teachers and pupils at the A3-18 Business and Enterprise Learning Community, based at Serlby Park School in Bircotes. They have organised site visits to help to provide information and supplied a real construction site that can be used as a case study for students studying on the Construction & the Built Environment Diploma.

During their first visits the pupils had the opportunity to view construction methods and materials that are usually unseen after completion, and get a taste of a live construction site for themselves. Further visits are planned once the development nears completion and the students are enjoying the hands on experience.
