Fire safety

Smoke alarms should be tested regularly to check they are in good working order. The Fire & Rescue Service will do a free home fire safety visit and fit smoke alarms (where necessary). They will also give you advice on what you should do in the event of a fire, and points to consider when making a home fire escape plan.
