Ways to pay your rent

There are a number of convenient ways you can pay your rent and you will not be charged for using any of the following ways:

By direct debit

A direct debit is when payments are taken from your bank or building society account. More information about this can be found on the direct debits page.

Using an Allpay swipe card

At the start of your tenancy you will have been given an Allpay swipe card. If you do not have an Allpay swipe card call us on 0114 2900 200 and we will get one sent out to you.

You can use your Allpay swipe card to pay in the following ways:

At the Post Office

You can make a payment at any Post Office and can pay by cash, cheque or debit card.

Pay Point

You can pay cash at any outlet that displays the pay pointyellow PayPoint sign. Many outlets are open beyond normal office hours.

Over the phone

You can pay your rent over the phone using your debit or credit card, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 0844 557 8321 and follow the instructions. Calls are charged at the national rate.

The internet

You need your swipe card number and a debit or credit card to pay over the internet

You can also enter your postcode into the Allpay website and find the nearest outlets to your home.
