Care and Supported Housing Direct managed services are those services which are run exclusively by South Yorkshire Housing Association i.e. SYHA own or lease the building and provide housing management as well as employing the staff that work in the service who provide care or support. Direct managed services now also include services that are not accommodation based where staff employed by the South Yorkshire Housing Association provide support to people in their own homes. There are two Care Services Managers employed by South Yorkshire Housing Association to oversee these services. Each care services manager is supported by an operations manager who is responsible for the operation of the services on a day to day basis.
