After consultation between the local authority and residents, this site was chosen to be developed into 6 two-bedroomed flats for the elderly.
Work started on the site in April 2003, taking 26 weeks to complete.
The site was formerly an open piece of unused land.
The flats were purpose designed to provide a high standard of accommodation within the existingboundaries.
