Eligibility to Work In the UK
It is SYHA’s responsibility to ensure it checks eligibility to work in the UK of every worker we employ, regardless of race, ethnic or national origin, colour or nationality.
Applicants applying for permanent & temporary posts within SYHA must be able to demonstrate that they are able to work in the UK. If the person has limited leave to remain in the UK they are able to apply for a role with SYHA, however, if successful they will be issued with a Fixed Term Contract in accordance with the amount of time they are eligible to remain in the UK.
Applicants will be required to produce an original document from List A.
Applicants will be required to produce original documentation from List B and will be subject to checks every 12 months to ensure they are still eligible to work in the UK. When carrying out a repeat check an employee provided original documentation from List A no further checks will be necessary for the duration of their employment.
