How to find a home
We don’t just house people in South Yorkshire; we have homes throughout North, South and West Yorkshire and across both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
If you or someone you know is looking for good quality and affordable housing, register with your local council and check here to see where we have properties.
To apply – or bid – for one of our 3,987 homes, you’ll first need to be registered with the local authority in the area you’d like to live in. Some local authorities give you the option of registering and bidding for a home online. You can find out more about registering and bidding by getting in touch with your local council below.
Choice based lettings
It’s important to know that each of the local authorities we work with offers a choice based letting scheme. This means that all available properties are advertised online or in a local newspaper and you need to register your interest in a property by bidding for it. We then receive a list of everyone who has placed a bid and we use this list to decide who to allocate each property to.
