We work with our customers and partners to create flourishing and empowering communities. We believe that by connecting with your community, you can access networks, opportunities and inspiration to live well and realise your potential.
Do you have any ideas for improving where you live and work? The Well Rotherham public health project is backing people in the local community with ideas to help improve health and wellbeing.
Based in Waverley, the project is working to grow the opportunities available through the Advanced Manufacturing Park, the new community, the local centre development, and the 300 acres of urban nature park.
Well Rotherham is also working on a programme of activities that have a positive and lasting impact on the area. They relate to three key themes:
Waverley is
a great place to work
Waverley is
a great place to live
Waverley is
an active community
The Great Ideas Grant supports local people to bring their ideas to life in their neighbourhood making it a better place to live, work and play.
Your project should reach and support your local community to work towards one of the following outcomes:
If your idea is successful, a project mentor will be on hand to support, advise and guide you along the way.
Anyone who lives or works in Waverley, Catcliffe or Treeton can pitch to receive a grant. It’s only available to individual community members or informal groups, and not to constituted groups or larger organisations.
