At South Yorkshire Housing Association we go beyond housing and we believe that your home is just the beginning of our journey with you. Our promise to each of our customers is that we’ll work with you to settle at home, live well and realise your potential – and that’s what our LiveWell services are all about. Wellbeing isn’t just about the absence of illness, it’s about being happy in your environment and flourishing.

Our award winning LiveWell services focus on giving you the tools to flourish. This could be through our supported living schemes, where we’ll work with you to find a home, learn new skills and find employment. Or, it could be some of our more specialist services where we work with people with mental health problems, learning disabilities or addiction. Whatever you need LiveWell can work with you to make a real difference in your life and create lasting change.

We’re passionate about finding ways to do things better and more cost effectively. Our award winning LiveWell services have gained national recognition for innovation in health and social care and we are working hard to develop new models of working which offer savings to the local health and social care system. Savings range from keeping people out of hospital or supporting them to return home from long term care. Below are just a few examples of our work with local health and social care organisations across South Yorkshire.

LiveWell has also inspired innovative projects that benefit people throughout the Sheffield City Region. Over2You gives people across Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield the chance to have their voices heard on local health and social care services, whilst Age Better in Sheffield is a £6 million project to reduce social isolation in people aged 50+. Find out more by clicking the links below.
