Support and Management Services

Support and Management Services, or S.A.M.S for short, provides a supported living service for people with a range of needs.

The majority of our customers have complex needs, such as a learning disability, however, some of our customers also have physical disabilities, long-term mental health conditions or problems with substance misuse.

Our team work with customers to ensure they can manage and maintain their tenancies.

We offer:

  • A variety of accommodation which includes bed sits, self-contained flats and shared properties.
  • A fully furnished home including white goods such as a cooker, washer and fridge.
  • Free maintenance to the property.
  • Regular health and safety checks on the home and appliances.
  • Signposting to any aids or adaptations.

Flexible care and support

With S.A.M.S customers are assigned a named housing worker who’ll work with them to build their confidence and skills to live independently.

They’ll catch up with them whenever they are needed to help with anything related to managing their property.

Our friendly team have experience in dealing with all sorts of housing or tenancy issues and they’ll do everything they can to help.

Eligibility and applying for a place

Referrals to S.A.M.S are accepted from a range of health and social care professionals, including social workers, psychiatrists, occupational therapists and community psychiatric nurses. You can also self-refer into S.A.M.S.
