Young people

Many of the younger people we work with have just left the care system. Others cannot stay with their parents due to a family breakdown, and others just need some safety and stability in their lives. Whatever the reason that people need our help, we’re here to offer a safe place to live and a caring staff team that will not only help to find a safe long-term home – but will help our young residents realise their potential.

Whether you’re the person who needs our help, or you know a young person who could benefit from speaking to us, we’ll do whatever we can to support you.

Newbold CourtNewbold Court

Newbold Court houses single homeless young people who have been referred by the Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire councils, and those who are moving on from children’s homes.

Our staff help these young residents to build their confidence and gain control over their own lives, making sure that they’re more than ready when it’s time to find independent accommodation.

You can get in touch with the Newbold Court team on 01246 274201 or if you’d like to find out more about the work they do take a look at our handy fact sheet.
