Our responsibilities

Every year we carry out thousands of repairs to the insides and outsides of our properties. From plumbing and joinery, to gas and electricity, we’ve got an expert team of trade professionals who can fix a range of issues.

There are two types of repairs that we carry out: emergency repairs and repairs by appointment.

If you’ve got an emergency, like loss of power or water, we’ll be with you within 24 hours to fix the problem. For all other responsive repairs we’ll book you an appointment to get someone out to you within four weeks.

For bigger repairs that require several trades or that need an element of planning we will try to arrange this within 8 weeks.

To help us make sure your property is properly maintained we’ve outlined the jobs that we’ll cover as part of your tenancy, and what you are responsible for.

Some of the smaller repairs or maintenance jobs aren’t included in your tenancy agreement, so you’ll need to do them.

For our elderly, disabled and vulnerable customers we’ll be making separate arrangements for maintenance and repairs.
