The Housing Ombudsman supports social housing customers and landlords to resolve complaints and disputes, and is inviting social housing residents to apply to join its Resident Panel.

As a member of the panel, you will be invited to share experiences and suggest improvements through regular meetings with the Housing Ombudsman.

This is an opportunity to be part of the Housing Ombudsman’s vision to embed a positive complaint handling culture across the housing sector, make improvements to services, and to make sure residents’ views are listened to.

No experience is necessary, and you do not need to have been a member of a scrutiny panel, made a complaint to your landlord, or used the Housing Ombudsman before.

The Housing Ombudsman is looking to recruit a diverse panel of people living in all types of social housing across England.

You can find more information and apply to join the panel here. Applications are open now and will close on 30 April 2024.

“This is an important opportunity for residents to get involved in helping develop the work of the Ombudsman in the coming years. Over the past few years, the Resident Panel has provided us with vital feedback on projects and this will improve the lives of residents for years to come.”
