What you can expect

We always intend to get it right the first time, and ensure that your repairs and maintenance are carried out in a timely way. We aim to complete repairs within four weeks, and emergency repairs within 24 hours. Your Tenancy Agreement explains what you can expect about the repairs and maintenance of your home. Telling us if things go wrong

However, there may be occasions where we, or contractors we work with, don’t respond to you within these timescales. This is never our intention, and we want to put it right at the earliest opportunity – if this happens, get in touch on 0800 1380 380 or repairs@syha.co.uk and we will look into it as soon as possible.

If you are unhappy with the services you’ve received from us, please let us know. You can get in touch on 0800 1380 380 or connect@syha.co.uk, or make a complaint. If you choose to take legal action, make sure you seek independent advice (there’s helpful information from Citizens’ Advice here), read the small print, and be very careful about what you’re signing up for or expected to pay for.
