Utilities

Money Saving Expert and OfGem offer information about how to cut utility bill costs and switch to lower energy tariffs.

Food banks

Food banks can help if you can’t afford the food you need. They will give you a food parcel, which will usually contain enough food for three days.

You’ll usually need to get a referral to a food bank before you can use it. Please get in touch if you need a referral for a food bank.

You might be able to use some food banks without a referral – for example, if it’s run by a church.

Too Good To Go and Olio are apps that offer free or discounted food. Food is shared, or sold at reduced prices, to save it from going to waste.
