Since April 2026, the Good Practice Mentor (GPM) team have been able to extend delivery of our support and have been lucky enough to continue working with organisations across the country to strengthen how they reach, involve and connect with local communities. Unfortunately, due to lack of ongoing funding opportunities, the GPM programme will be coming to an end in September 2026.
We’ve loved supporting 1,000+ organisations over the last 3+ years and truly believe in the ongoing value of the approaches that we have shared to help you reach, involve and connect with your local communities.
The resources that we have produced and shared over the course of the programme will continue to be available, and we would love to see their continued use in your work to support the legacy of the GPM programme. Providing support to such a range of organisations, across a variety of contexts and geographical locations, has helped us to deliver community engagement work that we hope will have a lasting impact by fostering communities built on social connection and meaningful participation.
