Earlier this year, we announced that we’d been allocated funding to distribute to Sheffield’s voluntary and community sector. We’re delighted to share that we’re now working some brilliant local organisations to offer a diverse range of activities in the city.

The activities have been created to support adults in recovery (people who have, or are experiencing, mental health support needs, homelessness, domestic abuse, substance misuse, and/or contact with the criminal justice system) to flourish, do something they love, connect with others, learn new skills, and more.

What’s on offer?

We’re working with seven amazing organisations: Adira, Blend Kitchen, Bloom, Firvale Community Hub, Framework HA, Haven, and RiteTrax, and they’re offering a diverse range of activities – including poetry, music, hair and beauty, gardening and DJing.

Our partners are working across the city in Burngreave, Heeley, Gleadless Valley, Walkley, Nether Edge and Sharrow, and over 1,200 people will benefit from the Positive Activities on offer.
