We are delighted to share that Larry Gold will be our new Chief Executive.

Larry will start working with us in March 2023 and will replace our current CEO, Tony Stacey, who is retiring after 27 years’ service to the association.

“Larry’s exceptional track record in our sector and deep commitment to social housing make him the perfect choice to lead South Yorkshire Housing Association. We turned 50 this year and we are proud of all that South Yorkshire Housing Association has achieved over that time. Larry’s breadth of skills, knowledge, experience and inclusive leadership style means that SYHA will be in great hands as we head into our next 50 years.”

– Tony Stacey, CEO

“It is a true privilege to have the opportunity to lead an organisation with such a fantastic heritage, an outstanding national reputation for social impact, and a set of values that I share. While these are challenging times for our customers and housing associations, I believe the track record of South Yorkshire Housing Association, the strength of talent within the organisation, combined with the experience I’ll bring and my deep commitment to customer service will put us in a great position to take SYHA into our next 50 years.”
