Meet our chief executive and directors’ team.
Tony Stacey has been our CEO since 1996 and has more than 30 years’ experience as chief executive of two housing associations, South Yorkshire Housing Association and Hexagon. During his time at South Yorkshire Housing Association we have won a string of national awards, including Most Innovative Social Housing Organisation and Best Provider of Care and Supported Housing.
Tony chaired the national housing group PlaceShapers for five years, championing the role of community-based associations. He is an enthusiastic board member of the Homes for Cathy group which is dedicated to raising standards in tackling homelessness. Tony has featured numerous times in 24 Housing’s top 50 of the most influential housing association chief executives in the country.
Juliann is our co-director of care, health and wellbeing. With more than 15 years’ experience in the health and social care sector, Juliann oversees our LiveWell work and has led our response to changes in health and social care.
Prior to joining us, Juliann was deputy chief executive of South Yorkshire-based Autism Plus, a charity offering a range of care, employment and education services to people with autism.
Gareth is our director of housing services, with lead responsibility for our landlord services, maintenance, customer contact team and sustainability.
Joining the organisation in 2005 within our care & supported housing directorate, Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in the health, social care and housing world, managing a number of mental health and homeless services within the public and voluntary sector.
More recently, Gareth has developed new models for tackling root causes of homelessness, such as our Housing First Rotherham project.
As business development director, Miranda is responsible for our strategic asset management, development programme, enterprise, our commercial subsidiaries, marketing and communications.
Miranda has worked in regeneration and development for over 30 years. A landscape architect and urban designer, she has led an award-winning community regeneration programme in north Sheffield as well as other programmes in South Yorkshire. More recently she held the posts of interim director of housing and director of commissioning (housing and adult social care) at Sheffield City Council.
Charlotte joined South Yorkshire Housing Association as co-director of care, health and wellbeing in January 2019. In addition to her work in LiveWell, Charlotte has corporate responsibility for IT and digital. Prior to joining us, Charlotte was chief operating officer at Good Things Foundation, an international digital and social inclusion charity.
Rob joined us in 1989 having previously worked in a variety of finance roles in the manufacturing industry.
Having had two spells as acting finance director, Rob moved into the role of finance director in April 2001, where he oversees finance and risk.
Our board of non-executive directors bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from their different backgrounds. They work with us to hold the organisation to account, to ensure that we are operating effectively, and help us to achieve our purpose. Some of our board members are pictured below.
