We’re working some brilliant local organisations to offer a diverse range of positive activities in Sheffield. The free activities include art classes, music sessions, mindfulness workshops, opportunities to get outside, and more.

The Archer Project

Screen printing taster classes, therapeutic activities with horses, and sessions to train as greeters for Sheffield Cathedral. For adults who visit The Archer Project.

The Art House at St. Matthew’s

Evening pottery and art classes with a cooked meal and drink provided.

Bloom Sheffield 

Activities include ‘Gardening to Feel Good’ groups for women in recovery from mental health conditions. They are also offering a ‘pay as you feel’ Winter Wellbeing programme from November 2023 to February 2024.

Endeavour Training

Person centred outdoor activities such as walking, canoeing, fishing, paddle-boarding, conservation, orienteering and bush craft. For adults in recovery from multiple disadvantage.

Ethel Trust

Day experiences on a community barge along the Sheffield and Tinsley Canal.

Framework

Person-centred programme of activities for women engaging with Street Outreach, including life skills, peer support groups, physical activities and crafts.

Haven

Activities for survivors of domestic abuse including arts and crafts, mindfulness, dance, zumba, baking, alpaca treks and picnics.

These activities are for people already working with Haven.

RiteTrax

Activities for people in recovery, including a weekly evening music drop-in, 1-2-1 sessions developing skills in music, group therapeutic sessions and dry/alcohol-free music events once a month.

Space To Breathe

Mindfulness sessions, wellbeing courses and one-off groups on specific tools such as breathing exercises. For adults who have experienced mental health challenges.

Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre

Health, fitness, multi-sports, swimming, knitting and support groups. For adults in recovery from multiple disadvantage, older people, and parents recovering from mental health challenges.

Target Housing

Activities including fishing, gardening, cooking, budgeting, getting out into nature, education around environmental issues, team building and problem solving. For Target Housing service users with complex needs, as well as other adults in recovery from multiple disadvantage.

Food squad at Theatre Deli

Everyone is welcome to join for food and companionship from 10am-2pm on Fridays.
