Last month, we shared the news that Larry Gold has been appointed to the role of CEO, Housing and Communities at Places for People (PfP).

We confirmed that Larry will remain as SYHA CEO until the planned Transfer of Engagements with Places for People (PfP) in April 2027, and that we will appoint an interim Managing Director to work alongside Larry at SYHA. The Managing Director will add leadership resource, and ensure we continue to perform well and provide excellent customer services.

The Board ran a robust internal process to appoint to the role, and we are delighted to share that Charlotte Murray, Executive Director of Corporate Services, started as Managing Director on 15th June 2026.
