We provide free, personalised support to help you find, stay and thrive in work. Our friendly team provide flexible, one-to-one support to help you achieve your goals. You can view all of our projects below.
Your free employment support includes:
- Regular one-to-one sessions with your employment specialist
- Help with job applications, CVs and interview skills
- Support to settle and flourish in your role
- Meeting with your employer to talk about your needs at work
- Signposting to other support
Whether you’re looking for your first job, returning to work after a career break, or need help staying in a role, we’ll be with you every step of the way.

We work with local partners to offer a range of employment support programmes in South Yorkshire. After you complete the referral form, we’ll be in touch to discuss your goals and explain which programme we think is best for you.

Connect To Work
For people aged 18+ living in Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham who would like support to find or stay in work. This support is for people with disabilities, health conditions, SEND or another condition that makes finding or staying in work difficult.

For people aged 16+ living in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield who have a mental or physical health condition, or disability, and would like support to start, stay and thrive in work.
WorkWell is for people who are recently unemployed (in the last six months).

For people aged 16+ living in the borough of Barnsley who would like support to find, stay and thrive in work. The person should be either:
- Aged 16‑24,
- Aged 16+ with a health condition, or
- Aged 16+ with caring responsibilities

Good Work (IPS for severe mental illness)
For people aged 18+ living with mental health conditions in Barnsley, Bassetlaw, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield who would like support to find, stay and thrive in work.
The team work closely with mental health and social care services to support people on their recovery journey.

For people aged 18+ living in East Maltby, Rotherham who would like support to find employment or explore other career opportunities if you’re already in work.
Participants may be eligible to receive an into work bonus of up to £400.

IPS for Homelessness
Employment support for people experiencing homelessness.
This is an employment trial, testing a new employment support service for people in Sheffield, Rotherham or Barnsley.
Referrals are now closed, but we’re continuing to deliver employment support to people who are already part of the trial.
